ONYX utilizes a very simple and powerful licensing system.
Consoles do not require any unlocking of Universe licensing or networked processing nodes. All calculations are executed within the console or PC hardware.
Onyx Software
Every embedded system supports the maximum number of Universes its hardware can process. The Universes can be assigned to any of the 255 Universe numbers but output will not exceed the allowed maximum Universes.
Onyx can also be installed on Windows PC systems and will offer access up to 128 Universes when unlocked using an encrypted Onyx USB Key.
